CIMA Intern Network’s First Gathering!

Past and present CIMA Interns, with Executive Director Heather Ewing, at the Center on June 12, 2018.

On June 12, 2018, at the tail-end of the Alberto Savinio season, CIMA hosted the inaugural gathering of the CIMA Intern Network (CIN). Seeing the vitality of our intern community, I established this network in early 2018 to connect the wonderful individuals who have come through CIMA. A dozen or so New York-based interns were able to join us, and it was only appropriate to kick things off with an Aperol Spritz!

A few guests gave us a glimpse of their paths since moving on from CIMA:

Anna Mahony, Summer 2016 intern, works as a Gallery Assistant at David Zwirner Gallery in Chelsea.

Veronica Lorenzini, Summer 2017 intern, is a current at Joseph Logan Design and Artbook / D.A.P.

Alice Cavallo, Summer 2014 / 2015 intern, serves as Production Editor at Sotheby’s Museum Network. Come Fall 2018 she will be pursuing a Master’s Degree at the New School.

Delfina Pattacini, Fall 2017 intern, is a Sales Assistant at the Richard Taittinger Gallery.

Noah Margulis, also a Fall 2017 intern, researches at the Morgan Library & Museum. He is headed to The Courtauld Institute of Art in the Fall.

Federica Mei, 2017 intern, serves as Assistant to the Director of the Mishkin Gallery at Baruch College, where she is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Arts Administration.

Grazie to all those who came by! We look forward to enriching and expanding the CIMA Intern Network. Cin cin!

CIMA Interns head to Governors Island on a Soho Arts Network Interns Outing, Summer 2017.
